What a second opinion actually gives you
An honest read on price, presentation and buyer demand

One agent who handles the relaunch personally
New photography, a rewritten listing and a proper launch — run by the person you actually spoke to.
Advice on your current contract before you change anything
Where you stand on tie-in and notice, so you do not end up owing two agents a fee.

Switching agent: common questions
Usually not straight away. Most sole agency agreements have a minimum tie-in period, and then a notice period that runs after it. Until both have run out you can generally still be liable to your current agent. Check the agreement you signed, and if the wording is not clear, your solicitor can tell you exactly where you stand before you do anything.
